Walter De Brouwer presented yesterday TEDxKids@Brussels, and to add to our excitement, it was held in our neighbourhood! I think my oldest kid learned english more by listening to the TED talks podcasts than with the many lessons her mother made him take :-). Which is not a surprise, if you hear the speakers we had yesterday at TED’s , they all emphasized the need of motivation and having fun to learn!
Great presentations, millennium kids with hands-on workshops, and a lovely sunny day. What else could we asked for? As Walter said closing the event: Let this event be the first of a movement to change things in education, and ‘till we meet again next year!
